Who is Saint Germain?

Saint Germain is the Ascended Master responsible for bringing in the dawning New Golden Age of freedom in which all will know that their Source is God, the I AM Presence. His last human embodiment was as Sir Francis Bacon (1561-1626), the secret son of Queen Elizabeth and the Earl of Leister, and rightful heir to the throne of England, but was raised in ignorance of his royal heritage by Sir Nicolas and Lady Anne Bacon of the Queen’s court. He was the true author of the Shakespeare plays and editor of the Bible under King James. He founded the mystical Rosicrucian Order using the name Christian Rosenkreutz.
About 50 years after his supposed death, he began appearing in the courts of Europe in various forms, speaking all European languages fluently. His aim in visiting the courts of Europe was to establish an era of peace, enlightenment and brotherhood. Many accounts of his activity leading up to the French Revolution appear in the diaries of various ladies of the court. These journals are now held in the British Library and are quoted extensively in The Count of Saint Germain by Isabel Cooper-Oakley. These diary entries show that he occasionally appeared in two different countries on the same day and often dematerialized after a visit. No one ever saw him eat or drink, nor did he age.
He was also instrumental in the founding of the United States, for which he held the vision of a utopia partially described in his book, The New Atlantis. He was also partially responsible for the drafting the government charters for the Virginia Colony. Thomas Jefferson, third President of the United States, wrote that he considered Francis Bacon one of the greatest men that ever lived. His name does not indicate sainthood, but in Latin Sanctus Germanus, means Holy Brother, which is a way he likes us to think of him.
He is now Chohan (director) of the Seventh Ray and works tireless to promote the use of the Violet Consuming Flame, the most purifying and raising quality of Light. He also works closely with world business and political leaders in an attempt to bring about a higher order of civilization on Earth. He is also the one most responsible for bringing forth the New Age, and Mount Shasta is known as one of Saint Germain’s main focal points, even his home, where he works alongside the other Ascended Masters and under the guidance of the Lord Maha Chohan.
Peter's Encounters with Saint Germain
My own first encounter with Saint Germain came in 1972 on the slopes of Mount Shasta, where he appeared ethereally one morning and, after making a number of revelations about my future life--such as moving to the Mountain as my home, told me to change my last name to Mount Shasta. A year later he appeared to me in a physical body in Muir Woods, near San Francisco, and offered me the ascension. I chose instead to remain embodied in order to serve humanity — a decision I have never regretted. He said then that he wanted me to assist him in his work, and directed me to return to Mount Shasta, where I would meet my teacher, Pearl, former assistant to Godfre Ray King, founder of the Saint Germain Foundation. Mount Shasta has been the focus of my work for the Ascended Masters ever since.
