The Violet
Flame

The Violet Flame is understood in Peter Mt. Shasta’s teachings as a spiritual force of purification, forgiveness, freedom, and transformation. It is closely associated with Saint Germain, the Seventh Ray, and the work of transmuting limiting energies into greater light, clarity, and freedom.

In these teachings, the Violet Flame is not merely a symbol, but a living spiritual activity that can be invoked through prayer, meditation, affirmation, and sincere inner attention. It is understood as a force that helps dissolve negativity, soften emotional burdens, clear karmic residue, and raise consciousness into a higher state.

What Is the Violet Flame?

The Violet Flame is described as a spiritual fire or current of divine energy that acts upon consciousness. In simple terms, it is understood as a spiritual energy of purification, forgiveness, and inner transformation. Its purpose is transmutation, liberation, and the awakening of greater spiritual clarity.

Rather than destroying individuality, the Violet Flame purifies the individual by dissolving negative attachments and limitations, restoring harmony, and helping awaken deeper awareness of the soul. For many students of these teachings, it is associated with forgiveness, mercy, healing, and inner renewal. It is not only something to contemplate, but something to work with in practice through meditation, affirmation, devotion, and the conscious remembrance of the Divine Presence within.

Saint Germain and the Violet Flame

Saint Germain is the Ascended Master most closely associated with the Violet Flame. Peter Mt. Shasta’s teachings show how, as the Chohan of the Seventh Ray, he promotes forgiveness, freedom, transmutation, mercy, and the awakening of spiritual mastery in daily life.

Many seekers come into contact with the Violet Flame once they contact Saint Germain and his work. Peter Mt. Shasta’s teachings show how the Violet Flame is a major part of Saint Germain’s activity on Earth: a current of spiritual help that assists sincere seekers in transforming fear, anger, emotional pain, karmic burden, and limiting patterns into greater freedom and conscious alignment with the Divine.

The Violet Flame and the Violet Ray

The Violet Flame is an activity of the Violet Ray, the spiritual frequency associated with forgiveness, freedom, purification, mercy, and transformation. These teachings show how the Master Saint Germain  employs the Violet Ray as one of the Seven Rays of creation that animates humanity.

The Violet Ray can be understood as the larger spiritual frequency, while the Violet Flame is its active transforming power in human consciousness. Through this activity, students seek not merely relief from problems, but a deeper inner shift toward freedom, healing, and spiritual awakening.

The Violet Flame and the I AM Presence

Peter Mt. Shasta teaches that the deepest purpose of spiritual practice is to awaken to the I AM Presence — the individualized Divine Presence and Higher Self within each person. The Violet Flame supports this awakening by helping dissolve the emotional and mental patterns that keep consciousness identified with limitation.

In this way, the Violet Flame is not separate from the path of the I AM Presence. It helps prepare the mind, emotions, and subtle bodies for greater clarity, humility, receptivity, and alignment with the higher reality of the soul.

How to Work with the Violet Flame

Students of these teachings often work with the Violet Flame through meditation, prayer, affirmations, devotion, and focused attention. The practice does not use force, rather love, forgiveness, compassion, sincerity, receptivity, and willingness to let higher consciousness transform past emotional patterns and mental  illusions.

To invoke the Violet Flame is to invite purification, forgiveness, release, and greater freedom into one’s life. Many turn to this practice in times of emotional difficulty, inner conflict, karmic pressure, or when seeking to let go of old patterns and return to a clearer spiritual center. The Violet Flame is also invoked for humanity by students of the masters through the sincere use of AM Affirmations and meditation visualizations.

A Simple Violet Flame Meditation

Sit quietly and allow the breath to become calm and even. Bring awareness to the heart and remember the Divine Presence within. Then visualize a radiant violet light surrounding and permeating your body, mind, and emotions. Let this light dissolve fear, tension, resentment, confusion, and all  limitation.

If it is helpful, inwardly affirm: “I AM the Presence of freedom, forgiveness, and purification in action.” Rest quietly and allow the Violet Flame to work in stillness, humility, and trust.

Violet Flame, Forgiveness, and Freedom

One of the most important aspects of the Violet Flame in Peter Mt. Shasta’s teachings is its relationship to forgiveness and freedom. True forgiveness is not merely mental agreement — it is a release of contracted energy, emotional burden, and attachment to pain.  Meditation and visualization of The Violet Flame triggers this release.

In this way, spiritual freedom is not only freedom from outer conditions, but freedom from inner bondage: resentment, fear, egoic rigidity, and identification with suffering. The Violet Flame is therefore part of the larger path of mastery, compassion, and inner transformation.
